ACI6007 Identification Devices Stand-Alone Magstripe Reader

The reader can be mounted beside the door to be controlled. Anyone requesting access must swipe a magnetically encoded card through the slot on the reader. The reader is equipped with a keypad and contains the electronics that release the door.

The ACI6007 is a stand-alone magstripe reader with keypad designed to be very simple to install and use. The ACI6007 has three LEDs and a built-in buzzer that will give clear and easy to understand information, during programming and when the system is in use. The unit has a built-in memory for more than 2300 cards and the last 500 events. If print-outs of the log and timed functions are required the unit can be expanded by using the AC-S Manager Time & Log kit.
The ACI6007 contains all of the electronics to control one door built in to the unit. In an application where someone may try to tamper with the unit, a ''Slave reader'' can be mounted on the outside of the door and the ACI6007 on the inside, in this configuration all of the door control electronics will be located on the secure side of the door.
